My name is Dee and I am a thirty-something attorney in Atlanta, Georgia with a love for sarcasm, food and writing. I have always wanted to start a blog, but only got the courage to do so recently because of the support and encouragement of my husband and my friends. Over the last couple of years I have spoken with friends, all of whom are in their thirties, yet all are in different stages of their lives. The main theme that I hear from everyone is that thirty is not what they thought it would be. Be it the recession, job disappointments or a complete lack of direction, the majority of the thirty-somethings I know are not where they wanted to be at our age. I’m not writing this blog to express my opinions or push a political agenda. Instead, I wanted to talk about the daily struggles I have with my age, my dreams and where I am in my life.
My goal is to publish every 5 days or so. I love comments and suggestions for topics, so feel free to contribute. However, I will ask you to remember that there is a real person reading the comments you write.
